ABOUT SYMSAC-XI
The global spice trade has witnessed remarkable growth in the past few decades, both in terms of volume and value. With an estimated worth exceeding 50 billion USD, the spice trade encompasses a wide array of products, including extracts, oils, and oleoresins, each finding myriad applications across industries. This expansion is indicative of the enduring appeal and evolving utility of spices and aromatic crops in contemporary society. As the spice ecosystem continues to evolve, it is imperative to cultivate sustainable production practices, foster innovation, and ensure responsible stewardship of these invaluable resources.
In response to these challenges and opportunities, the National Symposium on Spices and Aromatic Crops (SYMSAC-XI) emerges as a beacon of collaboration and knowledge exchange. By convening the leading scientists working on spices and stakeholders, this symposium offers a unique platform for critical dialogue and interdisciplinary engagement with a specific focus on the following themes.
